MICHELLE STEINBECK (*1990 in Lenzburg) writes prose, poetry, and for theater, magazines and newspapers. Her debut novel "My Father was a Man on Land and in Water a Whale" was published in 2016. Her books and reportages have been translated into several languages. She is a columnist for WOZ - Die Wochenzeitung and co-founder of the author collective RAUF. After longer stays in Rome, Paris and Hamburg, she currently lives in Basel.
