Mareike Fallwickl

Mareike Fallwickl (*1983 in Hallein near Salzburg) lives with her family in Salzburger Land. Her debut novel, Dunkelgrün fast schwarz (Dark Green Almost Black), was published in 2018, followed by Das Licht ist hier viel heller (The Light Here is Much Brighter) in 2019. Die Wut, die bleibt (The Rage that Remains) was both a critical success and a bestseller, with a stage adaptation premiering at the Salzburg Festival in 2023. Fallwickl is an advocate for literature, with a strong focus on amplifying female narrative voices.
