Faruk Šehić

Faruk Šehić (* 1970) is a writer and journalist whose work spans poetry, prose, and essays. His novel “Quiet Flows the Una” (Knjiga o Uni) won the Meša Selimović Prize for the best novel in 2011 and the European Union Prize for Literature in 2013. It has been published in 17 countries. Šehić regularly writes for the Oslobođenje newspaper and lives in Sarajevo. His most recent works published in English include “Under Pressure” (2019) and “My Rivers” (2023).
