And All so Quiet
This event is in German.
What happens when women stop doing what they have always done? In her new novel, Mareike Fallwickl explores female exhaustion as a catalyst for radical action and imagines its social consequences, much like in her 2022 bestseller Die Wut, die bleibt (The Rage that Remains). Women lie motionless in the streets in silent protest, and it is here that the lives of influencer Elin, caregiver Ruth, and Nuri, who juggles numerous jobs to stay afloat, intersect. The result is a feminist social novel about defiance and solidarity.
In cooperation with art of intervention.
