In 2022, a broad range of different stakeholders from the world of literature came together under the heading “Women in the Literary World” to take a look at the most urgent issues confronting women. The second Symposium will take place in Basel and will be opened on Friday evening in the Literaturhaus with a series of short inputs: concerns include sexism, heteronormativity and the sidelining of certain actors in literature and in society. Different perspectives and generations will be heard, from political to humorous, feminist and intersectional. On top of which, there will be time to take stock: what has been achieved as a result of the 2022 Symposium? What has changed in two years?
