HENRI-MICHEL YÉRÉ
POLO KOUMAN/ POLO PARLE
This event will be in Nouchi, French and German.
Henri-Michel Yéré’s new volume of poetry, written in Nouchi and French, interweaves past, present and future, and shows how poetry can overcome the linearity of time to open up new ways of seeing. The poems, which draw inspiration from both languages, answer each other without abandoning their dissimilarities. The voice of existential despair is countered by a sense of certainty offered by the voice of composure: in dialogue, ultimately every feeling of isolation disappears.
